Grooming School Program Licensing
Our family is committed to providing Salon Owners with a successful blueprint developed over 5 decades to open a grooming school. With Golden Paws instructional program, you have the capability to effectively teach twice the number of students per class, increasing revenues.

The GOLDEN PAWS Styling Program is licensed to select schools nationwide where students learn styling in upscale salons having clientele with a variety of breeds. Some Schools offer additional synergistic training opportunities, from nail art to guide dog training,
Many grooming schools are without the solid curriculum and training materials proprietary to Golden Paws choosing instead to rely on a “watch and repeat” learning method which may cause you to struggle in your new career trying to remember something from months past.
Golden Paws is a step-by-step multimedia, repetitive and progressive program that’s easy-to-learn and easy-to-teach.
This unique format lets you eternalize what you’ve learned and reference the materials when needed as you continue to hone your styling skills & gain speed.
Golden Paws graduates on average are capable of groom 6-8 pets a day after 2 months in a work environment due to the comprehensive program.
Golden Paws plans to seek Texas Workforce Commission approval for an Academy of Styling in summer of 2023.

Mitzi a second-generation pet stylist, salon owner and styling school entrepreneur opening the 1st Golden Paws Salon & School in Humble, Texas March of 1994.
Growing up in the business she worked for her mother and mentor.
A great deal of Ms. Parrish’s business success in client service, operations, forecasting, pet styling, and teaching were learned from the effective habits & talent of her mother Jacqueline Rauch. Together they wrote the innovative step-by-step, 600 pg. textbook “Golden Paws Complete Guide to Dog Grooming” with thousands of pictures & illustrations. Ms. Rauch created the basis of the proprietary pet styling school program Mitzi now licenses to select salons across the nation.
Before opening Golden Paws, Mitzi graduated from the University of Alabama with a BA in Communications
And went on to gain her N.C.M.G certification
